I like to doodle, that's where most of my so-called (by one person, lol) art comes from. I'm bored easily.
I am into reenacting (mostly French & Indian War) and make my own clothes, I'm making some cosplay stuff for a couple of friends....I've never taken a single sewing class, it's just something that came naturally to me when I picked up the needle and thread. I love sewing, and hate using patterns - I use sketches or make my own sketches, so everything I make is completely unique and irreplaceable. Like me.

I'M SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The only costume I have definitely chosen for at least one day is Fem!Castiel (Supernatural). I just have to find the 'perfect' tie, and I'm debating on a pair of black wings... What do you think?
And then, for a potential second day costume, I'm not sure if I should wear my Ariel blue dress or be Merida? I've got red hair presently, so wigs aren't necessary, and I've been able to accomplish both hairstyles reasonably well. BUT if I wanted a new costume, I could be Daphne from Scooby-Doo! And the idea of being Poison Ivy always thrills me,

Blessed Yule to myself, Merry Christmas to my man, Happy Hanukkah to a couple of people, etc, etc.
I had a wonderful holiday - got my crockpot, a huge fleece blanket that looks like a tiger skin, and many happy memories. Also my pookie bought me the special Barnes & Noble edition of The Arabian Nights - it's bound in blue faux leather-esque stuff and the edges of the pages are all gold and it's just asdfghjkl I squealed when I saw it. And he got me a beautiful dream catcher and also I HAVE A SEWING MACHINE OF MY VERY OWN!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

.... When the man of your dreams agrees to marry you.
Yeah, I proposed and he's teasing me about it mercilessly! But I had my little brother for the weekend and I've had the rings for about a month and I just wanted the two most important men in my life to be close at hand (obviously one of them HAD to be at hand to do it, but you know what I mean!) when I did it.
